Asst. soft pastels, Great American, Ludwig and Mount Vision alcohol wash under painting on UArt 400. Reference image taken by me at Cape Cod's National Seashore in Sept. 2019. I'm just learning how to paint waves. This is my 4th painting of waves. I live on Cape Cod and winter in Punta Gorda Florida. The sea speaks to me so painting waves is somehow coming natural to me. I loved the peace and power in this scene.
