Fallen Leaves

Traveling around the Eastern Shore in the Autumn is an artistic feast. This road with its fallen leaves covering ground and roadway provided inspiration to try and capture the colors and texture of the season. The entire painting was done using the stippling technique as part of an exhibition commemorating the 60th anniversary of our regional art museum. The subtitle for this work was "60 strokes multiplied" in keeping with the theme of creating art around the number 60.
