Pacific Storm Clearing is 100% pastel/dry pigment. The painting was created on Museum board prepped with Art Spectral ground (Terra Cotta). This piece was executed in the studio from a plein air sketch which was done on site. Pastels used in sketching and rendering the scene, Newpastels and Derwent pastel pencils. Layering of final colors included the use of Unison, Sennelier and Terry Ludwig soft pastels.
