Copper Valley

I began with a mono print using water solvable oil paint and a piece of parchment paper, slightly scrunched up. The image reminded me a a landscape. From there I allowed the pastel to flow loosely and the valley image began to appear. No reference photo was used. I used Arches paper and my own mix of pastel ground.
