Sundogs and Cattails

I like the fact that cold winters allow access to marsh environments when everything is frozen, and create the atmospheric conditions necessary for sundogs to appear in the sky. I incorporated complementary blues and warm oranges/peaches to create interest. This piece is done on UArt 400 bonded to archival foamcore. The underpainting was primarily local color, but with blue under the snow.
