Secret Places

Part of the magic of winter is the ability to see the comings and goings of animals recorded in the snow. I pass this evergreen bush on daily walks and am intrigued by the intimate space created by the shadow, and the tracks that lead to that space. This piece was done on black UArt 400 to help create the necessary depth in the boughs and accentuate the subtle glow of the snow.
