Yellow tulips stand for a variety of things including happiness, cheerfulness and hope. I find them radiant! This painting was inspired by a photo I took during a visit to La Conner, WA a few years back. I used a piece of reclaimed Uart paper which I coated in red NuPastel to cover the old failed painting, then applied my soft pastels on top.
