My inspiration came from our visit to the "High Arctic" It was magical and majestic to be able to watch the "Sea Ice Princess" swim in the sea by the ice floes and eventually, gracefully get out of the water onto the ice to take a close look at our ship. Polar bears are extremely beautiful, curious, powerful and dangerous. This painting is created with soft pastels on Uart paper.
