Mother and Child (Lynne and Mary Beth)

I'm really inspired by Mary Cassatt's technique and subject matter, and I wanted to emulate her in a piece of me and my mother, who passed away when I was four. I found an old family photo that almost mimicked Cassatt's compositions, but I took marks and colors from Cassatt's work while still referencing the photo.
