Soft pastel (a mixture of various brands) on Italian Clay Pastel Premier paper. I was commissioned to do a pastel portrait of little boy, and while I was photographing him, his baby sister was lying on the counter, and the light was hitting her face so beautifully that I couldn’t resist photographing her.
