California Desert III

The Antelope Valley located just north of Los Angeles is home to the California Poppy Park and to millions of wildflowers that carpet the valley floor. When there is a good year of rain, the valley explodes with California poppies, Fields of Gold, valley lupine, heliotrope, etc. There is nothing prettier than a recent rainstorm makes everything bright and colorful from the remaining clouds to the thirsty soil and plants that soaks up the rainwater.
