In Tandem

This was painted on Uart 400 with Sennelier, Unison and Nupastels. Painted here are 10-year-old Francie (the bigger dog, since passed) and Sammy (the littler dog, currently alive and well). Francie was depressed for a whole month when we first got Sammy, as Sammy always wanted to play, was persistent and disrespectful of Francie's space. Well, after a month, things worked out. Sammy learned everything he could possibly learn from Francie who now, in some respects, lives on in Sammy.
