In Tandem

Painted in soft pastels on Uart 400 paper with Nupastels, Sennelier and Unison. Francie (the bigger dog) was 10-years-old when we got Sammy (the littler dog). She was depressed for a whole month as Sammy always wanted to play, was persistent and disrespectful of her older-dog space. Well, after a month, things worked out. Sammy learned everything he could possibly learn from Francie. Unfortunately, Francie passed 1 1/2 years later but, in some respects, lives on in Sammy.
