Wading Ibis

I love to paint water in motion... This subject gave me the opportunity to break down the water into more graphic shapes. My goal was to emphasize how water can have interesting defined shapes and still show motion. The trees in the background helped supply more shapes as this Ibis waded across a pond in a Florida wildlife Sanctuary.
