At Schoodic Point

NuPastels, Townsend, Mount Vision and Ludwig pastels on Rives BFK paper coated with Art Spectrum Colourfixe pastel primer. Several friends and students go to Maine to paint in Acadia National Park. In this pastel I try to capture the fog creeping across the rocky coast at the base of the Schoodic Peninsula while the waves swirl against the massive slabs of granite.
