Contemplation

Soft pastel portrait of our husky looking pensive one afternoon. The back lighting from a nearby window seemed to add additional sense of mystery, making me wonder what she was contemplating. The background and underpainting were done with Panpastel. Sennelier soft pastels were then layered over the Panpastel and fine detail was added with Carbothello pastel pencils. The piece is done on Canson Mi-Teintes Touch paper.
