Chaos

Painting Sunflowers is a combination of observing flowers from life, and designing the composion of the painting. The series Chaos is a series using flowers to express the many feelings that I am experiencing in my life. The underpainting is created with water mixable oil paint loaded on a brayer. Pan pastel is then applied on the background and petals of the flowers. Variety of pastels are used to add color and markmaking to the paintings and bring it to life. BFK Rives paper
